12 Things We Learned From Justin Gabriel On Talk Is Jericho

6. Post-WWE Opportunities

Jericho asks what the response has been like and PJ says it's been great, that his March and April are already fully booked. He points out that the indy scene is thriving right now and has matches lined up against AJ Styles, Drew Galloway and Ricochet - who he calls one of his favorite performers - and he's very excited. PJ says that he's been getting into New Japan Pro Wrestling, and all those guys look like they're having fun, and it helped him regain his passion for wrestling. He mentions Japan as somewhere he's always wanted to go but could never get a visa while he lived in South Africa, so he's looking forward to getting a chance to work there. Jericho then compares how PJ felt to what he and Eddie Guerrero would often feel in WCW, having their passion and drive sapped right out of them. Black says he just felt that he wasn't getting any younger and needed to rediscover that passion before his best years were behind him.
