Going hand-in-hand with his creations of Hulkamania and Wrestlemania, Vince McMahon's incredible vision for what could be achieved within the confined of the pro wrestling environment did not stop there. Indeed, McMahon is widely credited for being the one to revolutionise the Pay-Per-View market which quickly became a staple of the wrestling landscape, and even dripped its way over into the legitimate sporting world. Closed circuit television was the first way in which McMahon offered his product to people remotely, who couldn't be in the arena live, but he wasn't alone in doing so, several other companies were doing the same. Looking to grow the potential for WWE to make money, McMahon helped pioneer the PPV format, bringing his 'WWF Superstars' direct to the living rooms of customers. Things may be changing once more - Pay-Per-View is something WWE seemingly wish to phase out, in favour of the WWE Network subscription model, but many fans have to remember there was a time when watching wrestling from the comfort of your own home wasn't a thing. Thanks to McMahon, it's become an everyday occurrence.
