12 Things You May Have Missed From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jun 4)

11. Otunga's Rap Reference

David Otunga returned to Raw's announce booth last night, stepping in for Jonathan Coachman who was in Atlantic City, New Jersey, working an event for his other job with the Golf Channel.

The former Nexus member was his usual mediocre self. Though never obtrusively bad, Otunga was bland as ever, offering little insight throughout the three-hour show.

He did, however, deliver a surprisingly up-to-date pop culture reference (by WWE's standards), referring to Kanye West-affiliated rapper Pusha T's ongoing beef with Drake, which dominated music headlines last week. Otunga dropped the line during Sami Zayn's segment with Bobby Lashley, shouting the MC out for his new album, "DAYTONA," before saying that Sami, like Drake, didn't want the heat.

This wasn't the announce team's only moment of sharpness, though. When John Cone goofed the six-woman tag finish later in the evening, Corey Graves asked if he'd officiated the bout on Ambien. This is a direct call to Roseanne Barr, who cited the sleeping drug as the reason behind the series of offensive tweets that saw her fired from ABC last week.
