12 Things You May Have Missed From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 11)

2. Kevin Owens = Not Stupid

Kudos to Kevin Owens for the rare achievement of becoming a WWE heel who actually learns from his mistakes last night.

The previous week saw the former Universal Champion renege on frog splashing a prone Finn Bálor from a ladder. The Irishman was at his mercy, but KO cucked out. This allowed Balor to fell his opponent, before scaling the prop himself, then nailing the Coup de Grace in a striking recreation of their TakeOver: Brooklyn spot from 2015.

Owens paid for his hesitation, but he was on the ball this week, and didn't pass up the opportunity to splash Braun Strowman through the announce table in the night's main event. A great moment, and one that we could well see again in the Money In The Bank match itself.

WWE heels are booked like such dumbf***s that it's always refreshing to see moments like this arise. Owens still lose the match, but at least did everything in his power to neutralise Strowman.
