12 Things You May Have Missed From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 11)
1. Safety First
The purpose of last night's main event was to set Braun Strowman up as an unstoppable force at Money In The Bank. Thus, 'The Monster Among Men' took exorbitant amounts of damage, eating multiple finishers and Kevin Owens' announce table spot, before fighting back to secure the win. A Herculean effort from the big man, and an exciting bout that accomplished everything it needed to.
Strowman blasted Owens with a powerslam onto a ladder for the finish, but had to correct himself before driving KO down.
Having set up to execute the move as he normally would, Braun hesitated with Kevin on his shoulders, realising the damage he was about to do. Strowman then made a split-second adjustment, ensuring that his opponent's back would take the brunt of the impact, not his head and neck, which would've surely hurt the Canadian.
A smart piece of work from Braun, who proved once again that he is no oaf between the ropes, and if protecting the opponent's health is a wrestler's most important job, Strowman is doing his admirably.
