12 Times Crowds Actually IMPROVED Wrestling Moments

10. Daniel Bryan's Entire Push

This entry represents not just a single moment, but a two year odyssey that saw Daniel Bryan, a simple journeyman become a star so hot, just being in the same ring as him would elevate the level of anyone else in the WWE.

Beginning on the Raw after WrestleMania XXVIII, a distinctly European crowd incessantly chanted Daniel Bryan's catchphrase, "Yes!" This would carry on well beyond one episode. Suddenly every move Bryan did was punctuated by an emphatic "Yes!" Every time he said it, the fans echoed it. Even in segments he wasn't in, the "Yes!" and "No!" chants were used by fans to show approval or disdain.

The Yes Movement didn't simply make any of Daniel Bryan's matches better; it made WWE as a whole better. Every segment had some type of fan interaction, which made every valley that Bryan had to endure all the more painful, that despite how much fans pushed, the bookers wouldn't budge. All that strife could be forgiven though as it ended up perfectly building up to one magical night in the New Orleans Superdome.

Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship provided cathartic vindication to every fan that wanted to see their guy have his moment. That image of him double-fisting the titles up in the air, conducting the crowd in another "Yes!" chant to close out Wrestlemania XXX, provides a lasting image for how good wrestling was in 2014, and how good it can be again.
