1. Daniel Bryan At WrestleMania 30
Starting at Summerslam 2013, everyone's favourite B+ player, Daniel Bryan, started causing massive problems for Triple H and The Authority. The Bearded One was relentless in his quest to gain the WWE Championship, having been screwed out of it time and time again. One of the greatest (and most unintentional) slow-burning angles in the modern era of WWE saw Bryan resisting against the corporate machine, shattering the glass ceiling, and grabbing the brass ring with both hands (presumably before using those hands to do a 'YES!' chant). In one of the more anticipated Wrestlemania stories of recent years, the night was set up so that in order for Bryan to earn a spot in the main event against WWE Champion Randy Orton and Royal Rumble winner Batista, he'd have to beat Triple H at the start of the evening as well. Later, it transpired that if Triple H was the one to come out victorious in that match, then Hunter himself would be inserted into the main event. Wrestlemania 30 was basically one booking swerve away from Triple H beating Daniel Bryan, walking out of the event as WWE Champion, and breaking the whole internet. Fortunately, Daniel Bryan came out of both matches victorious. Even better though was the fact that he beat Triple H with a clean pin in the center of the ring, with no outside interference or reason to doubt the legitimacy of the win. Triple H would go one step further in beating Bryan up after the match, and even trying to stop the Yes Man in the main event, but to no avail. The Cerebral Assassin basically spent the whole night making Daniel Bryan look really good, for a moment that can never be taken away from the WWE Universe. Triple H may have a reputation for always finding himself victorious in the main event, but when it's 'best for business', he's happily taken the losses when they really matter.
