12 Times Vince McMahon's Plans Blew Up In His Face
11. All The Offensive "Humor"
For all his talent, Vince McMahon is still a troubled individual with a very perverse sense of humor. Those may seem like strong words, but in the mad dash for ratings that was the Attitude Era and the lean years that followed, dozens upon dozens of tasteless skits made TV under the guise of "entertainment." Who, for instance, can forget when Kaientai attempted to castrate Val Venis with a sword, only for John Bobbitt to make the save? Surely, we all remember Hot Lesbian Action, a recurring segment when two women would be brought to the ring to kiss and fondle each other because... well, there really wasn't a reason. And if those have escaped your recollection, surely you recall the Katie Vick storyline, where Triple H accused Kane of necrophilia... and re-enacted the scene, in case anyone had any questions. These idiotic skits came back to bite McMahon in the backside when his wife, Linda, ran for U.S. Senate in 2010 and 2012. WWE - now with a TVPG family-friendly image - was forced to hawkishly watch YouTube and related sites, immediately pulling down any uploaded material that revealed the McMahons' true nature.
