He sells more merch than a teenage turtle in the '90s, has more comebacks than Kiss and less moves than a gawky teenager on a first date. He's 15-time World Champion John Cena and the kids adore him as much as the 'net fans despise him. Whatever the storyline may say, Cena is the face of the company and will continue to be for quite some time. What's frustrating about Cena isn't the man himself - he's a likeable, talented guy - it's the way he's booked. A wrestler like Cena will remain popular with the kids who watch WWE regardless of title reigns. Cena doesn't need the title and putting him just one short of Ric Flair's 16 belt haul does nothing for his fans while simultaneously leaving dedicated lovers of this sport of kings with their heads in their collective hands. His title losses to the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and, of course, Brock Lesnar, in recent years have done nothing to diminsh his fanbase's love for him. Almost nothing will change that. Yet, when he does equal Flair's record as a champion there will be an awful lot of unhappy WWE fans out there.
