When Chris Jericho returned for what felt like the 605th time to WWE and RAW on January 2nd 2011, viewers were excited to see what the Ayotollah of Rock n' Rolla would deliver aside from a sparkly jacket, some botched moves and a series of increasingly predictable losses. Jericho's strength was always his electrifying personality and so there would always be his promos, guaranteed to entertain and provoke. Not this time. Jericho appeared, stood in silence and left. The next week he did it again. Then he appeared in a six man tag match and tagged in and out again without applying a single one of his 1004 holds. Finally he appeared to announce that at the following week's Royal Rumble it was going to be "the end of the world as you know it." In the Rumble match he was eliminated last by Sheamus who, of course, went on to win. It's like they actually hate you.
