12 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Feb 26)

Jungle Boy Santana
AEW

A supplemental Down for The Inner Circle's generic entrance theme here, but their trios sprint with Jurassic Express was an absolute blast.

Last week's battle royal set-up gave it a flash of backstory. Luchasaurus and his small scruffball sons were out for revenge after Ortiz and Santana removed them from that match and the heels brought Sammy along for the ride, though they were battered early on. Rather than waiting until the third act to get involved, Luchasaurus ran wild early, smashing dudes left, right, and centre. It drifted into the usual format thereafter, with Jungle Boy and Stunt selling ahead of the hot tag. Guevara was needlessly dickish as he squatted with the weightless Marko on his shoulders. Moments like this helped generate a monster pop as the behemoth finally entered and murdered the bad guys, proving, once again, that the Luchasaurus hot tag is a sure thing.

Darby Allin ran out when The Inner Circle tried to use the Madball on Jungle Boy, who scored the fall on Guevara. A big credibility-booster for Jurassic Express and more juice for Guevara and Darby ahead of their Revolution showdown.
