12 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (May 26)

5. Opportunity Awaits

Rohit Raju continued to impress on the microphone this week, seemingly confirming the dissolution of The Desi Hit Squad - or at least, his departure from Gama Singh's comradery - after a few mentions of it being a possibility. 'The Desi Hitman' was asked what's next for him in Impact Wrestling, with his answer being a summary of his entire Impact career. Nothing.

Instead, Raju sits at the bottom of the ladder, waiting patiently for any opportunity to come his way, which it did in the form of one half of The Naturals, Chase Stevens. Rohit made another valid point upon the arrival of the former World Tag Team Champion, stating that he's had nothing come his way while all these older TNA guys have been able to strut back into the company and be handed all the chances before the current crop of talent. While there are exceptions where these older guys have flourished in their roles, such as Ken Shamrock, Rohit's words made perfect sense.

It's astonishing that it's taken three years for Rohit Raju to properly find his footing within Impact Wrestling. This singles run needs to work for Raju. The potential's there, it all depends on how he's utilised going forward.
