12 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (May 26)

6. A Welcomed Return

When it comes to Impact Wrestling, something that you can always guarantee a good time from is the backstage treehouse segments from The Rascalz, which made a welcome return prior to Trey's main event encounter with Michael Elgin.

Trey, Dez, and Wentz are always on top form during these skits, with this week's addition of Moose making for perhaps the best instalment yet. 'Mr Impact Wrestling' offered Trey the chance to challenge for his TNA World Heavyweight Championship as opposed to Tessa Blanchard's title should he come out victorious in the tournament finals, which garnered nothing but a barrel of laughs from The Rascalz. Right before making a sharp exit, Moose reminded the trio to watch what they say, giving them a stark reminder about what happened the two sides crossed paths.

Like with the majority of this week's backstage segments, this wasn't anything too special, but it was still quite good. It got the treehouse back for another week, it got Moose on the broadcast, and it helped further establish Trey as a possible tournament winner. Sometimes, the simpler, the better.
