12 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (May 26)

11. The Right Path

Your writer hereby retracts all comments made last week with regards to Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz. Obviously, it was always going to be a decent pairing, but it just didn't make sense why 'The Hottest Flame' was aligning herself with newcomer Steelz after being built up as a singles star with these video packages. Now that we've actually gotten to see the duo working together, albeit briefly, it seems this is indeed the correct path for Kiera to be on.

Kiera and Tasha bumped into Kylie Rae backstage, who, in fitting with her character perfectly, apologised profusely. Susie would intervene not long after, with both her and 'Smiley Kylie' being beaten down for their troubles. Once 'The Hottest Flame' and 'The Latina Badass' left the scene, Susie again had some flashbacks that reminded her of Su Yung. indicating an imminent return of 'The Undead Bride'.

A simple beatdown in the locker room area that both set up a tag team match for next week's episode, and established Hogan and Steelz as the tough bullies in Impact's knockouts division. Nice and simple. Kiera and Tasha work perfectly together as they both have the exact same sort of persona. No matter how long they're together for, it helps establish Kiera as a legitimate name in Impact, while also giving Tasha a helping start to her new career.
