12 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Mar 11)

1. Really, Bea?

Bea Priestley
AEW

Bea Priestley attacked Nyla Rose in a surprising post-match move, hoisting her belt up in defiance afterwards. It looks like she'll be the next to challenge 'The Native Beast' for that strap.

A couple of problems here:-

1. The producer missed the jump-off point: Priestley was already mid-beatdown when we returned from the highlights, diminishing the angle's impact.

2. The crowd cheered the beatdown. This probably wasn't the intended reaction, making this a clear, objective Down.

Priestley going for the belt doesn't necessarily violate the win/loss rankings as she has created her own challenge her, rather than earning one through the sporting framework. Regardless, it doesn't feel right. Gone since November, she's now walking back into a mainline programme after a subpar performance in a tag match that didn't take.
