12 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Mar 11)

11. Chris Daniels' Cosplay

Christopher Daniels
AEW

Here's your man Christopher Daniels dressed like the guy from those Dark Order infomercials, spitting his own brand of truth in the group's cult-like style.

This tickled. Daniels and his lovely turtleneck built the thing up as the Order does, claiming he had a very important message to share: "screw the Dark Order." He claimed the tribe's momentum ended the night they stepped in the ring with SCU, reiterated that the Exalted One doesn't exist, and promised to prove it by beating both Evil Uno and Grayson in singles competition. When their leader doesn't appear, the spooky perverts would be exposed as "nothing more than sad, desperate men."

Daniels is being set up for a fall here, given what we learned later on in the show. He was good here. With everyone reason to still be p*ssed at the group, he tried to crawl under their skin via straight-up mockery. A nice change of pace.
