Not much to note on this one; a simple video package aired early in the night, showing an artist creating a painting that read 'Long Live The Drama King'. Of course, this is in reference to Matt Rehwoldt, the former Aiden English.
Intriguingly, Rehwoldt has since posted a rather cryptic tweet that said he was alive. Fightful Select had previously reported that at least one of the surprises would be a performer who wasn't currently signed to a major promotion. Since departing WWE on 15 April 2020, the former NXT Tag Team Champion has wrestled just three matches on minor indies.
How he fits into the current IMPACT fold will be compelling to see.
