An apt heading for an underwhelming surprise that led to a disappointing World Tag Team Championships match.
Nonetheless, No Way (Jose) was unveiled as TJP's replacement alongside Fallah Bahh, complete with a conga line that featured Johnny Swinger, John E. Bravo, Alisha Edwards, and an array of goobers. Your writer will admit that a chuckle was uttered while watching this, but that's as far as it went. The pacing of the match massively detracted from the bout, which already wasn't helped by the fact it was fought with only two guys in at a time, rather than one from each time at once.
No Way's lifting Flatliner was a decent highlight here, as was Willie Mack's impressive Samoan drop on Fallah Bahh. Sadly, it didn't get much better. Rhino set up for a Gore, only to be distracted by his own teammates at ringside, so he took a Gun Stun and Magic Killer as the Good Brothers regained the World Tag Team Championships.
There was endless potential with Violent By Design as IMPACT tag champions. Your writer is often critical of Joe Doering, granted, but the group as a whole brings plenty to the table that warranted a lengthy title run. On paper, all this acted as was a way of adding more gold to the Super Elite; something your writer had hoped for back in April.
Now, however, was the wrong time.
