12 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 18)

5. Building Their Challengers

By the looks of things, the next challengers for The North's World Tag Team Championships will be TJP and Fallah Bahh. That's fine, after this week.

Last week, the match between Fallah and Ethan Page was the biggest Down coming out of the show, but only because it made both Page and Josh Alexander look like a pair of absolute fools. The match itself wasn't overly bad - one tiny thing can often be the only difference maker between an Up and a Down. TJP and Josh's match from this week was, thankfully, a superb fight between two fairly different wrestlers.

It's those different styles that made for quite the contest, with all sorts of innovative offence and spots interspersed throughout the match. Whether it was TJP clinging onto 'The Walking Weapon' after a Rolling Hills to transition it immediately into a crucifix counter or Josh's swinging sleeper hold, which looked more nasty than innovative in all honesty, ensured that the tag titles story was now a positive feature on the show

TJP would win the match - another rollup victory from his side, which is a key point. With both he and Bahh winning their respective singles matches, it looks as if we have our next contenders for the Impact World Tag Team Championships.
