12 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 18)

4. Chris Bey, Coming Soon

Impact Wrestling had discreetly teased the announcement of their newest signing on social media prior to this week's episode going to air, with that signee being unveiled just prior to the main event as Chris Bey.

If you recall back to September/October time, Bey had been appearing for Impact, as well as for WWE and Ring of Honor all within close proximity of one another. With that said, Bey was bound to sign somewhere sooner rather than later. Thankfully, it's Impact Wrestling he's chosen to sign with, which is a fantastic thing for two reason - a) the list of great matches he can have here is almost endless, with TJP, Daga, and any member of The Rascalz immediately springing to mind, and b) because it means this writer gets to write about him. A selfish mention, yes, but he's an incredibly delightful man to write about.

His match with then-X Division Champion Jake Crist on the Bound For Glory go-home show was an immensely wonderful match. Just in the way he moves, you can tell Chris Bey is suited for a television audience. Now that he's been officially signed to the company, the world will get to see what the man's capable of. Genuinely, one of the best decisions Impact management have made in terms of a signing.
