12 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 18)
1. Go-Home To Sacrifice
This week's Impact Wrestling was the go-home show to Sacrifice. While that event isn't technically an official pay-per-view but rather a special on Impact Plus, it should still be held in the same regard when it comes to go-home episodes and decent builds for matches.
Rhino vs. Moose has been one of the more promoted matches for the event, with 'The War Machine' in action this week against Dave Crist in a rare singles appearance for the Crist brother, while Moose sat in on commentary. The match couldn't have been a slower affair if it tried. For a go-home episode, you would imagine the action would've been much quicker than this.
Jake Crist got involved from ringside in full view of the referee who didn't seem to care about disqualifying Dave, or at the very least ejecting 'The Golden Draw' from ringside. A missed senton off the ropes from Crist allowed Rhino to make his comeback, taking care of Jake and then connecting with a Gore to Dave for the win. Right after the bell, Moose had some words of wisdom for Josh Mathews - that was Dave Crist, not Moose. As if everyone couldn't tell.
This did nothing to build towards their Sacrifice match. If anything, it took away from the build that was already there. Just get Taurus back in - he seemed to know what to do to get that rivalry on the Up side of this column.
