12 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Oct 2)

3. This Ain't It

Angelico Jack Evans Jason Mewes
AEW

Jack Evans and Angelico confronted Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes as Dynamite returned from its second commercial break, and it was really, really weird.

The actors were there to hype their Jay and Silent Bob revival. Angelico and Evans spat a few lines, playing up their new heel status, before Mewes mocked them for failing to win an AEW match so far. This led to Private Party weirdly turning up in the crowd to share a little bit of the bubblay with Mewes and Smith, then the whole thing just sort of ended.

This felt like filler, though Evans' rant was at least entertaining. Coming straight into it from a commercial was an extremely rough transition, too, and the show would've lost nothing had it just been cut out entirely.
