12 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Oct 2)

Ups...

12. The Worst Town

Who knew that Scorpio Sky possessed such an on the money Barack Obama impression? What a guy.

SCU were on good form in their mid-show segment. It began with a quick skit in front of a Washington, DC backdrop, before Tony Schiavone interviewed them at the top of the ramp. They ran through their "worst town" shtick then got down to the business, with Sky announcing that he'd step aside to allow Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian to represent the trio in the tag team tournament, before the Lucha Brothers showed up, proclaimed themselves the best in the universe, and brawled with the baldies. End segment.

A solid little way to hype the upcoming tournament (but little more than that), this had plenty of character. It worked, and here's hoping we eventually get to see the SCU vs. Jurassic Express dark match that went down before the taping.
