12 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling Hard To Kill 2021

8. The Karate Man Literally Steals A Heart

Ethan Page vs. The Karate Man worked. This sort of thing is always going to have its critics as, in all fairness, it's not technically a match. It's a guy standing in front of a green screen kicking and punching the air. Aside from the subpar stock footage backgrounds, it was a great editing job, and so a minor Up must be awarded for that.

It was weird, it was wacky, and it was different. On a whole, it was a needed distraction from the rest of the outside world. Impact's cinematic contests (if you'd want to class this as one) have been a joy to watch for the most part. Funnily enough, Page was actually involved in their first last May.

This time around, he was murdered. 'All Ego' literally had his heart ripped out by The Karate Man, more or less confirming that he will indeed be leaving Impact Wrestling now that his contract has expired.

Impact have a tendency to kill off their wrestlers rather than allowing them to just leave. When Allie departed for All Elite Wrestling, she was murdered in the Undead Realm. On a side note, Page will be a massive get for whichever promotion he ends up in. Be it WWE, AEW, New Japan, or anywhere else, he can add so much to a company.
