2. An Exciting Main Event

While it only really existed to serve up new developments in the Roman Reigns whodunit saga, SmackDown's main event was very good. Very, very good. How could it have failed, though? The New Day are one of the biggest in-ring sure things in the company, Daniel Bryan is a wrestling genius, and Rowan is a solid enforcer. They're always going to deliver something special, even when operating at TV speed.

Fun, fluid, well-paced, and exciting, it was a tremendous offering from two tremendous teams who work tremendously well together. Tremendous.

Bryan worked a prolonged heat segment on Xavier Woods. This eventually yielded tags to Big E and Rowan who got beefy, before exciting spots like top-rope elbow drops and E's suicide Spear started unravelling. Bryan and E looked like they took a rough bump off this spot. Eventually, Woods went after Rowan with a dive, but the big man picked up the ring steps instead. The DQ came soon after and while it's a shame they weren't able to work to a definitive conclusion, the circumstances make it acceptable.
