12 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 27)

9. Humpty Dumpty?

LAnce Archer
AEW

Lance Archer appeared from the back and smashed Sonny Kiss and Aaron Solow after their bout, with Jake 'The Snake' Roberts getting weird on the microphone. For some reason, he opened by reciting Humpty Dumpty, then promised changes were afoot for him, after absolving himself of all responsibility for Archer's actions.

'The Murderhawk Monster' is why this finished as an up. He was cold and chilling in addressing Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, proving that he doesn't necessarily need a mouthpiece anymore.

In promising to invoke a biblical, old testament beatdown on whoever leaves Full Gear as AEW World Champion, Archer threw himself back into the picture after the Moxley loss. He was good here, with his almost-whispered closing delivery enhancing the point.
