12 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 27)

8. Sonny Kiss vs. Aaron Solow

Again, this was structured like a textbook Dark match but elevated by the performances.

Aaron Solow is good at playing a smarmy little prick, as he did here, doing his part to elevate this above the web series' usual fodder. He began by piefacing Sonny Kiss and was a constant d*ckhead throughout.

Kiss, meanwhile, got his confidence back after the Kenny Omega squash, wrestling with pop and snap. His offensive style is unlike anyone else in the company and while he is prone to the odd slip here and there, this wasn't the case on last night's show. A good rebound performance from him, and the win came via splitting leg drop.
