12 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 27)

3. Jurassic Express vs. Danny Limelight & Jersey Muscle

Jurassic Express Danny Limelight
AEW

Jurassic Express trios matches are exclusively good. This one was all about building Danny Limelight up as an insufferable bell-end before he received his comeuppance, which came in the closing stretch.

Limelight showed off, flexed, taunted, and talked smack to Jurassic throughout his opening control period. That he didn't want to tag either Jersey Muscle member in put him over the top as a d*ckhead before he was eventually forced out. Luchasaurus was so wound up by this that he hauled Limelight back into the ring to administer a beatdown when he wasn't the legal man, selling the heel work.

Marko Stunt was eventually isolated by the enhancement guys, who had cleared Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy out of the ring, though they found 'Mr. Fun Size' hard to kill. Jurassic Express came back together to pummel Limelight for the win, first with a triple corner kick before JB and LS literally threw Stunt into a Destroyer on Danny, finishing it off.

This was a riot of a trios bout, and wouldn't have been out of place on a Dynamite midcard.
