Heavy Machinery The New Day

As contrived as the booking that brought us to it was, the eight-man tag pitting Heavy Machinery and The New Day versus Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan and Rowan was good for what it was.

A fun, fast-moving scramble, the sub-five-minute runtime left little room for another other than Otis and Tucker to stand out. They got their sh*t in good and proper towards the end. Tucker blasted Bryan with a lariat to score the hot tag to his pet Furby, who went nuts, decking Zayn, hitting his slam, a corner splash, and the Caterpillar. In came Tucker to drop the Compactor, and that was that.

Heavy Machinery needed the momentum after losing to Bryan and Rowan at Stomping Grounds, though this, technically, was the champions' second loss of the night (despite not taking the fall). Still, the match itself was nice. There might be hope for tag team wrestling in WWE after all.
