12 Ups And 15 Downs For WWE In 2017 (2nd Opinion)

12. Injuries

Injuries are a part of the job when it comes to a business/sport like professional wrestling. While you know they’re going to happen, sometimes, they can absolutely decimate a roster or force massive changes to the company’s plans.

2017 was no different than the typical year, but it still was tough to see some of the wrestlers who went down at terrible times: The Revival suffered back-to-back injuries that kept the team out of action for much of the year; Big Cass went down shortly after a heel turn and what was supposed to be a major push; Dean Ambrose landed on the shelf during a Shield reunion and could miss WrestleMania; Jeff Hardy’s injury put a tag team on ice (though that had a side-benefit later).

While none of those injuries forced a WrestleMania rewrite, they still were a negative force in the company.
