12 Ups And 15 Downs For WWE In 2017 (2nd Opinion)
10. Déjà Vu With Debuting Women
On the day after Survivor Series, three women not seen on WWE TV in 2017 showed up on Raw and started pummeling established female superstars, beating them down and leaving them laying.
And then the entire scenario repeated itself the following night on SmackDown with three completely different women.
Of all the lazy booking decisions WWE has made through the years, this has to rank right up near the top. In its effort to introduce five NXT women and return Paige to the card, WWE chose to have two trios of women – dubbed Absolution and the Riott Squad – operate in nearly identical fashions on the two shows. There were little to no differences. Hell, if Sarah Logan and Sonya Deville traded places, would anyone notice?
It was just a lazy move that made you wonder if anyone was actually paying attention in WWE.
