12 Ups And 22 Downs For WWE In 2015

13. The Celtic Champ

It turns out that a Mohawk, braided beard and nose ring does not make you more interesting or dangerous, it just makes you look stupid (at least according to fans). Sheamus spent a decent amount of time on the shelf this year, returning with a new look and a new attitude, finally turning heel after years of being a bland babyface. But what looked like it could be a career revitalization turned into just more of the same. Despite winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, Sheamus continued to drift aimlessly from match to match, not winning any major matches or having memorable feuds (unless his 875th match against Randy Orton counts). Suddenly, he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship out of nowhere at Survivor Series, kicking off an abysmal three weeks as champ. Ratings plummeted with him on top (which is saying a lot considering that he was champ for so short a time), and his reign was ended as abruptly as it started. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFDyneaqV1U Despite the accolades on paper (MITB, world champ), 2015 has to be a disappointing year for the Celtic Warrior.
