12 Ways Famous Wrestling Streaks Ended

All streaks are made to be broken.

Winning streaks are fairly common in the squared circle. Sustaining a streak over a long period of time is the difficult part. Every year, two or three new WWE Superstars debut and rattle off victory after victory until they either run out of steam or meet their match. Guys like Rusev, Ryback, The Ascension, and even Fandango chalked up multiple, notable victories over a respectable period of time before succumbing to an opponent. (Rusev, still not having been pinned, is the lone exception.) But what about those streaks that seemed like they would last forever? The ones where the guy just seemed unbeatable? Off the top of your head you can probably think of two or three memorable winning streaks and can recall where you were when they ended, who was involved, and what it took to bring the run to a screeching halt. When you think about it, there are actually quite a few that deserve recognition. Some of which you might not even expect. Others may have even had an impact on the professional wrestling business for decades to come. Let's get to the countdown...
