12 Ways WWE Would Have Different If Brock Lesnar Hadn't Quit
3. UFC Wouldn't Be As Strong As It Is
Before Brock Lesnar turned up, the UFC was already a solid two years into a MMA boom. But Brock undoubtedly helped to make the brand even bigger, going on to become their top box office draw with UFC 100 (1,600,000 buys) and UFC 116 (1,160,000 buys), in addition to drawing over a million buys for two other cards he headlined. He was the baddest man on the planet and it was like UFC had found their Mike Tyson of the MMA world. But unfortunately, bad health, and a limited skill set, meant it wasn't a long career with UFC. They've yet to find another star who can match his PPV numbers. If he had stayed with WWE, those record breaking UFC shows would never have happened. The company would have still just broke the million barrier with a few other shows, but nothing like to the extent and regularity of Lesnar's accomplishments. He helped to make the brand significantly bigger. If he had never left WWE, UFC wouldn't be quite as strong as they are today.
