12 Worst Ever WCW Champions

3. Judy Bagwell

What in the hell was Rick Steiner thinking? He won the tag team titles with Buff Bagwell, but Buff turned on him mid-match. He was then allowed to pick his own partner to carry the belts with him. Originally he chose Kenny Kaos from High Voltage. A strange pick, but his next one was far worse. When Kenny went out with an injury, Rick got to choose another. He chose Judy. As in Judy Bagwell. As in Buff Bagwell's mom. Now Judy was not an older version of Bull Nakano, Natalya or Trish Stratus. She was a middle-aged woman with absolutely no ring experience. She didn't seem to...well, quite have the physique of a professional athlete either. The only thing she had going for her was that she basically beat Buff as a child, and thought she still could. Perhaps she taught him the Blockbuster? Thankfully, she never did defend the title in a match, but the fact that she held the belt around her waist makes her one of the worst champions in not just WCW, but in the history of the planet!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
