I'm sorry, but that pun is just too hard to avoid.

Let's play fantasy wrestling booker for a moment, if you'll allow the indulgence.

On your roster you have a physically impressive and undeniably beautiful young woman, the daughter of a tag team legend and the niece of one of the greatest of all-time. She comes with the readymade motion of the family name, and is one of the stronger wrestlers in her division.

What story do you give her?

If you chose 'farting machine', then congratulations (cong-flatulations?)! In 2012 this is the honour that was bestowed upon Natalya, daughter of everyone's second favourite member of the Hart Foundation, Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart.

After her partnership with Beth Phoenix as the 'Divas of Doom' came to an end, Nattie found herself saddled with a gimmick that saw her featured in backstage segments passing gas and generally offending those around her in the process.

As fart jokes tend to be the only source of comedy in mainstream American PG entertainment, this still goes down as one of the most depressing stories in this era of WWE.

The story eventually came to an end, and things got better for Natalya as she was shifted into an odd couple story with The Great Khali.

Poor, poor Natalya.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
