13 Wrestlers Subjected To Heat From The Undertaker
12. Vince Russo
It isn't just wrestlers who have found themselves in hot water with The Undertaker! Vince Russo was one of the WWF's key backstage personalities in the 1997-99 boom period. His edgy creative writing for the shows undoubtedly helped business, but it also ruffled some feathers among the old timers. A magazine writer telling wrestlers how to act? It certainly wasn't the old school way of doing business. "When I left the WWE many years ago, I was told by Terry Taylor that The Undertaker had a bit of heat with me," Russo told WrestleZone. "This absolutely broke my heart because I admired and respected The Undertaker more than you could ever imagine." Supposedly, Taker's heat with Russo stemmed from having to work injured. Russo was unaware of how banged up Taker was, and kept making requests of him to be physically involved. It could be a reasonable guess that it was the way Russo was communicating with Taker, which caused the wrestler to develop heat for the mouthy New Yorker.
