9. Trent Barreta

As one half of the Dudebusters tag team alongside Caylen Croft, Trent Barreta’s WWE opportunities were few and far between. His minimal TV appearances meant he was never given a chance to make a name for himself, but his current run on the indies and in Japan has been nothing short of greatness.

A two-time champion and a fixture of New Japan’s Junior Heavyweight tag division with his partner Rocky Romero, Barreta is also a regular fixture in PWG, where his cocksure swagger and versatile skill set make him one of the most entertaining parts of any show he’s featured on.

WWE didn’t know what they have with Trent, and his current run proves it.
