12 Wrestlers Who DESTROYED Their Bodies For The Business

10. Big Show/Paul Wight

Kevin Nash Legs

Picture above: AEW's Paul Wight.

There are multiple reasons for why Wight's legs are so twisted and bent. Firstly, he's been carrying a gigantic frame around on those bad boys since he was a teenager. Second, he's suffered several nasty injuries that certainly weren't helped by his gargantuan size or (at times) bulk. Most would agree that the ex-Big Show shouldn't be risking it by putting any strain on his legs nowadays.

Thankfully, he's had surgery to correct problems since that pic was snapped. Both of the giant's knees and hips have been replaced, and he cheerfully reported in the summer of 2024 that he wasn't suffering from any pain whilst working out in the gym. Good for him. It sucks to think of the big dude being miserable just because he put so much stress on his body whilst wrestling in WCW, WWE and (in a more limited capacity) AEW.

Even so, yikes. That pic is horrific. Wight's legs kinda look like Kevin Nash's did before he also got surgery to sort things out. More on that later. Without being cruel, Paul recently looked like another person's pins had been photoshopped in to replace his. The bend on that right leg, in particular, was scary to witness.

If Wight's in a much better place, then good. Everybody should be glad of that. Decades of carting around a massive body caught up with Show. His place in wrestling should be behind the curtain or on a microphone/headset going forwards. No more matches, please. They're unnecessary.
