Known for her split-legged entrance routine and for having a few crackers against Beth Phoenix during her peak years, Melina can look back with a smile on what she achieved in WWE. In August, she took the time to answer a few fan Q&A queries and revealed she would quietly retire from actually wrestling after working scheduled dates.

That'd bring her 17-year career to an end; yes, although Melina didn't make her televised debut in WWE until 2004-2005, she started training and working in 2001.

When one fan asked her about the potential for a feud against (real-life pal) Zelina Vega, Melina said she was flattered but unable to work out a deal because she'd decided to call time on wrestling. Interestingly, she has since worked a ton on the indy scene, and her last match happened in late-October. That must be those 'scheduled dates'.
