12 Wrestlers Who Retired In 2018
6. Vampiro
Whether you remember him best as the ghoulish New Blood member who challenged Sting to comedic 'Human Torch' matches towards the end of WCW or as Lucha Underground's commentator, Vampiro has enjoyed some career. He made his debut way back in 1984.
This past April, he took to Twitter, posted some medical reports and used them to explain why he was officially retiring from the ring aged 51.
Vamp made a name for himself in Mexico long before hitting North America and gaining popularity in WCW. He didn't give a retirement speech as such, but instead posted a series of rambling tweets about how much wrestling had meant to him over the years.
