12 Wrestlers Who Suffered The Most From WWE WrestleMania 36

4. Shayna Baszler

There was a way to have Shayna Baszler lose to Becky Lynch without having her suffer as she did at WrestleMania 36. 'The Queen of Spades' should have won, of course, but if she was to fall, there were a couple of ways for the loss to serve as a functional bridge to a rematch without sacrificing too much of Shayna's credibility.

WWE's option wasn't one of them.

Baszler vs. Lynch was a stiff, snug, and satisfying match until the challenger was pinned off her own Kirifuda Clutch. That multiple foes have felled Shayna this way in the past means she, like Bobby Lashley, is now a kayfabe dumb*ss. How can this keep happening to somebody presented in such a sport-like way without damaging her? If this was a real fight and Baszler was a real fighter (which she was, and is supposed to be treated as in WWE), she'd have drilled this out of herself. She'd have learned from the mistake.

Not on this stage, pal. Not on the WWE main roster. Instead, Shayna came off as a dolt who got foiled while executing her own finisher, leaving much rebuilding to do.
