9. Chyna
The whitewashing of Chyna from WWF history is startlingly unfair. She was without doubt one of the very biggest starts of the ultra successful Attitude Era, right up there with the very main characters in terms of perception and cultural awareness. Along with The Rock, she was one of the biggest stars to cross over to the mainstream. She appeared on shows like Third Rock From The Sun and had a best selling book. But in 2001 she was released from the company. This was after her boyfriend Triple H was found to be having a relationship with Stephanie McMahon. She's barely been mentioned since, apart from in unavoidable contexts like DX retrospectives. Doing porn also damaged her legacy. WWE didn't want to tell the story of their history and have a porn star as one of their most successful female performers. The truth is that Chyna should be mentioned any time WWE discusses Diva history. She's right up there with Trish Stratus in terms of impact made.
