12 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown Live (Oct 25)
2. This Makes No Sense
Hell In A Cell is a RAW exclusive event. It has absolutely nothing to do with SmackDown Live.
Why the hell are the SDLive pre show team plugging it in the middle of SmackDown? This would make sense if the narrative of WWE stated that both shows were working for the greater good of the company, but it doesn't. It's says the opposite. They're supposed to be battling against each other on all fronts.
I'm not going to run you through that promo Vince McMahon cut when announcing the brand extension because I've done it over 1,000,000 times since RAW and SmackDown went their separate ways in July. You know the contents of that promo. You know that promo was a pack of lies.
This segment was compounded by the presence of Survivor Series in all our minds at the moment. Not only are the brands going head to head on all the fronts McMahon outlined in that promo in July, they're contesting on that show too.
Why can't the narrative of WWE's shows be consistent?
