12 WWE Monsters That Failed

10. The Oddities

Initially working as an oddball heel group under the mysterious Jackyl, The Oddities started life as an unpleasant 'freak show' act, The 'Parade of Human Oddities' were a group of ginormous wrestlers flanked by Howard Stern acts 'Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf' and 'Crackhead Bob'.

Carrying the in-ring load for the group was John 'Earthquake' Tenta under a mask as Golga, alongside Giant Silva and previous failed project Kurgan.

In another era, The Oddities would have likely provided a threat to the top babyface of the day, challenging possibly The Undertaker or Hulk Hogan.

However, in the vein of WCW's miserable 'Dungeon of Doom' stable, the monsters were simply not a suitable fit in the 'Attitude Era', especially with such little talent in-ring to offer.

After a confusing and muddled introductory segment for the group on Raw, The Oddities were remodelled into a sympathetic, fun-loving group, sporting brightly coloured clothes, an Insane Clown Posse-infused entrance and a kind demeanour.

It was lower card fodder at best, and outside of a SummerSlam squash over the equally diminished 'Kai-En-Tai' group, The Oddities were nothing more than a collective footnote of the era.
