Oh, look. Another match between Randy Orton and John Cena!

Unforgiven 2007 and No Way Out 2008 might have been just a handful of months apart from each other, but it felt like a completely different world. Between one and the other, Cena got injured, the title got vacated and we were now living in the 'Age of Orton' - now in high definition!

So how was this happening AGAIN already? When John Cena came back from injury at the Royal Rumble in 2008 and won the match, he chose to use his WrestleMania title shot against Orton... before WrestleMania.

This match was better than the one at Unforgiven, with Orton working over Cena's surgically repaired chest, but featured that dumb finish that saw Orton slap the referee to get DQ'd and retain the gold. This might sound cool and all, but not so much to the live pay-per-view audience who had to pay 40 dollars to get this.

The World Championship match saw Edge put the gold on the line against an injured Rey Mysterio in a rematch from the Royal Rumble.

They worked a safe five-minute match since Rey was in no condition to wrestle, and he was immediately attacked and eventually written off TV by the returning Big Show afterwards. Floyd Mayweather Jr. came out to confront the returning giant, knocking him out and starting the build to their meeting at WrestleMania XXIV.
