12 WWE Rematches That Are Better Than The Original Classic
5. Shawn Michaels Vs Razor Ramon (Summerslam 1995)
The 'first' WWF ladder match, Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X, wasn't actually the first WWF ladder match at all. Shawn and Bret Hart had a ladder match way back in 1992 over the Intercontinental Title which remained obscure for years. Whether or not it was the first, Shawn vs Razon at 'Mania is certainly one of the best. It has been lionised by the WWE, appearing on several major WWE DVD releases and is often talked about as one of the greatest matches of all time (ladder or otherwise). Like all good sequels, their match at SummerSlam played off of and build on their previous classic and the two matched the lofty standards that they had set. The match at SummerSlam is arguably even more dramatic than the WrestleMania X contest. Full of sick bumps and tight psychology, Michaels and Ramon had a great match that King Mabel and Diesel couldn't even hope to follow.
