12 WWE Stars You Didn't Know Were Super Intelligent

2. Kane

When the Big Red Machine comes out and destroys his opponents, the last thing one would expect Kane to do afterwards is to discuss politics on libertarian podcasts. Yet that€™s the sort of thing Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, does outside of professional wrestling. His major was English Literature back at Northeast Missouri State University, but since then Kane has delved numerous times into politics and the economy. Kane has been influenced by libertarians such as Ron Paul, John Stossel, and Murray Rothbard to name a few. Needless to say, Kane isn€™t shy about where his aligns himself. He supported Ron Paul back in 2008, has spoken for a number of libertarian groups across the country, and even has his own blog where he posts about current events and the state of the US economy. Talking to Kane when he€™s not lacing up the boots is much like talking to someone running for office. In fact, there were talks not too long ago that Kane would attempt to run for office as a GOP senator for Tennessee. This is the same Kane, by the way, who didn€™t hesitate to electrocute Shane McMahon€™s testicles on live television. Professional wrestling is a funny thing sometimes.
