Caylen Croft (also known as the other Chris Cage) second development deal with WWE began in 2008. In late 2009, the Dudebusters (Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta) debuted on ECW television. As a tag team, they feuded with Cryme Tyme, the Hart Dynasty and The Gatecrashers. His singles' career was far less illustratious with losses to JTG and Yoshi Tatsu. Like many talents brought to television through the relaunched ECW, he floundered after that show ended and he was released in November 2010.
