12 WWE Stars Who Got Lost In The Mix

9. Tom Brandi (Salvatore Sincere) 1996-1998

Perennial independent wrestler Tom Brandi has bounced around the American scene for ages. In 1996, Jim Cornette wanted to reintroduce €œjobber to the stars€ characters to WWF television. They would be characters who would lose to established talent. Examples included Tracey Smothers as Freddie Joe Floyd, Tony Anthony as TL Hopper and Bill Irwin as the Goon. Previously Brandi had bounced around WCW, AWF (American Wrestling Federation) and ECW as "Johnny Gunn". His WWF character was "Salvatore Sincere" spent years as an enhancement talent. After WWF, Brandi has toured widely with his adoption of "The Patriot" gimmick for independent shows across North America.
